Description short with short brown hair. Bragging to a nurse named Bob.
While my surgeon and his staff was great there is something to be said for hospital policy. I just had my neck fused yesterday... I have been walking about and coherent since I woke up in recovery... I can no not go to any other floors nor can I go outside.. I'm waiting for discharge but still can not do anything. You are made to feel like a hostage
As we entered the ICU and his room, we were shocked to see him brain dead with a breathing tube down his throat. As we sat and patiently waited for the family, the staff just mulled around laughing and talking with each other, despite all the signs on the walls that recommend QUIET which is supposed to positively impact patient outcome. One nurse was very happy to share her weekend shenanigans in Ocean City, MD, bragging "I could not have packed anymore fun into my vacation...".
I will only comment on my experience visiting a gravely ill friend of ours in ICU last weekend. (I do not have enough information about why he got to ICU from another floor but it wasn't good.)
My Mom died in this hospital yes she was old and sickly, but I believe more could have been done. We were told shed be doing therapy no time would they even attempt to do therapy. Nurses said you may have heard we would provide therapy, we don't! After taking my mom off life support I asked for her coach purse, I was told she didn't have a purse when she came in. After losing her I wasn't arguing with anyone. This was in June I got a call the day before my birthday which is October 23 that they found her purse. This place is very disorganized, tell lies. Stay away from this hospital!
The date was Saturday, August 5th between the hours of 2 p.m. And 5 p.m.
Our dear friend is slipping away right in front of her but she just went on and on with our friend's nurse about her traverses.
Really?
Pretty callous. Plus a lot of other things. She should not be client-facing. Maybe the laundry room would be better.
Please note that all the another doctor's and nurses I ever came across in the past was very helpful and nice. But this doctor was the worst.
Amazing hospital experience...went into the ER ended up being admitted for surgery on gallbladder. Every single person we came in contact with went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. I am in Pennsylvania working for 8 weeks from Florida and I am happy that this issue happened up here since I would never have received this type if exceptional care where I come from. Where I come from if you walk in an ER in pain they dismiss it as a drug seeker and do not take the time to find out what is wrong with you...scared of what would have happened if my gallbladder issues happened back home...Kudos to your staff as well as management because great leadership and expectations come from the top!!!!
I was in the ER on November 7, 2017. I didn't feel comfortable with a doctor, so I requested to see another doctor. I had a bad experience with this doctor at another hospital. She got mad and discharged me without any care and her is name Dr. Stephanie Horst. She sat behind the desk for 4 hours.
