I will be “reactivating” my overpriced Spider Garage permit since I’m not allowed to actually park near my home. They’d rather leave it all $3 per hour meter parking- no permits allowed.
I’ve gottn tickets even though I was parked where I had a permit to be. They’ve also given me another person’s ticket before, which I understand has happened to a few people. They conveniently close before anyone gets off of work, thereby making it next to impossible to go in.
Parked here for 4 hrs and 10 min to attend a dinner at a nearby restaurant. Imagine my surprise when I was slapped with a $30 parking fee !! My god at least Jessie James used a gun when he robbed people! Needless to say I'll never park here again! Do yourself and your wallet a huge favor and drive on by this criminally run place.
Outrageous prices, ridiculous policies. Charged my card for THREE months of parking at once, then had the nerve to demand a $15 "reactivation fee" on top of it. All because a card expiration date changed? Only redeeming feature is that the counter staff seem genuinely embarrassed and sympathetic when corporate policies are asinine.
I cancelled my garage because it was inconvenient- I could only park after 4 and had to leave by 9. It costs $200 per month if you want all day parking, nevermind the fact that the spider nest of a garage is empty after 5.
What a mess. I think it’s helped balance the city’s budget, but parking is the number one reason I’ll be leaving.
Obviously overpriced, but the city is deciding what the rates are. Park Harrisburg is just the inconvenient middle man.
Watch your back in the garages, as the only cameras I’ve seen are at the entrances, and the entire gate opens when you swipe through the door.
The people in the office are very nice, though.
Convenient, but surprisingly expensive for Harrisburg. Paid $15 for just over 3 hrs. Go for street parking if possible.
