For a short visit nice experience. Selection for what I needed not the best. Tool selection way better than Lowes. Store was not very busy this helped quick in and out.
Really like this Home Depot location, mainly for the service as I find the employees are friendlier and always willing to help. Another bright side is it is the BEST location around Harrisburg for the Kids workshop on Saturdays and I will always take my kids to this one over Mechanicsburg. Better organized, less crowded, snacks, engaging staff, and fun!
I want to thank the Derry street store for their excellent customer service today. I must admit I first went to the Lowe's on Union Deposit because it was across the street from an appointment I had today. The customer service at Lowe's was so bad I walked out of the store and headed to Derry St. Home Depot. As I left the store I thought I should have just headed to Home Depot instead of trying to save time. When I got to Home Depot I was greeted by friendly staff and was assisted by extremely friendly and helpful employees in several different areas I was shopping in today. Customer service is a huge part of the buying experience and makes all the difference to me in where I shop. Thank you for the 5 star treatment today. Your store and staff are top notch!!! :)
Not the best. Requested help loading large items and received "help" from 2 special needs boys. While I think it's wonderful these two have jobs and want to work, they really couldn't help and 2 women did it instead. Not complaining about the store or the boys, just would have been easier if they were shadowing with someone who could give them direction on how to do things.
The Home Depot is the best.place to for your tools and anything else for doing jobs around your home. It is a reasonable, inexpensive place to shop.
