Wouldn't recommend this gym. Most of the staff is nice and talkative but there's a few that are completely rude. The hours suck as well. Every other gym is open 24/7 but not golds gym.
Dirty and run down place, very poor customer service! After communication with the front desk lady we decided to go to another gym. We were treated like we were bums, very unprofessional! Simply disgusting
The place is run down and was told when signing up the agreement was 12 mounths and it turned out being a 14 month agreement. The reason why they do this is to charge two yearly fees. When talking to the management team who handles there payments they where very hard to work with. I will never step foot in this place. This is not a real golds it is a franchised place also. Save your money and headache go elsewhere!
Worst customer service ever. No one at the front desk has any idea what they're doing. Requested at least 4x to cancel my childcare services and it never got done, which resulted in me being over-charged for multiple months. Then spoke with a manager twice who said he would refund me and never did. This was back in February. If management is reading this, I still want my money back...
I can't believe this gym is under the same ownership as Hershey Golds. There is a stark difference in quality. There is no reason to go to the Harrisburg Golds if you can drive a few extra minutes to Hershey.
Harrisburg has never had enough bars for the benches. They don't have clips for them either. There is only one power rack which is always occupied. The plates are in constant dissaray and you have to hunt down what you want every time. The staff likes the front desk, you can always find them there. But you can't find them on the floor keeping a gym looking clean and organized. Now that the gym gave up on any semblance of sanitization by getting rid of towels and solvent to wipe down machines... I'm done.
Oh also my car got broken into in their parking lot. They have no security cameras outside.
